#Twinning Friendship Collar style!

I recently won a giveaway on Twitter that was run by the American brand, Friendship Collar who very kindly sent me a collar and charm set, Friendship Collars is a vegan friendly brand that sells collars that each come with a matching bracelet, i've often looked at FC's site and lusted over their gorgeous things but never actually bought one!

The collar/bracelet and charm set arrived beautifully packaged in white suede effect drawstring bags finished with gold detailing making them the perfect gift for any dog lover (once again, i'm thinking of christmas!).
The set I received is the "Pedigree Princess" (pretty apt, really!) which features an ikat design which will be a perfect collar to transition into the autumnal colours, the matching bracelet is lovely and to my surpass actually fitted! (I have the wrists of a small child!)
I also received the "Paw Print" charm set, this is a really clever idea! One of the charms slides onto the bracelet and the other clips onto the collar!

I really love this set and I also wanted to say another huge thank you to FC for choosing us as their winner! :)

Our new favourite harnesses?!

I was kindly contacted by Mandi of Puppichic Boutique recently asking if the dachshunds be interested in modelling two of her harness and lead sets that she makes and sells on her site, for those of you that have been reading my blog for a while may recognise the name; Lily and Sev have one of her bathrobes each (which are brilliant! The post is linked here). I was super impressed with the bathrobes so it was a massive yes from me!

Puppichic Boutique specialises in unique and bespoke pet ware ranging from collars and leads to waterproof jackets! One of the things that really attracted me to Mandi's shop is her dachshund section! Lily and Sev's harnesses are size medium, but Mandi will custom make things to your individual measurements, which is especially helpful for awkward sized dogs like Sevy! The harness and lead sets retail at £23.99 and the range can be found here.

The harness design is really unique and they fit perfectly! Every harness i've tried previously have been really bulky around the chest/armpits on the daxi's but not with these! The chest is made up of a single panel of fabric which won't rub or irritate and the buckle to adjust the strap around the waist is high enough that it won't hit the legs when they move which is something I always try to look for! I think Sev looks absolutely gorgeous in his new harness, Mandi chose the fabric and it really suits him!
She was also kind enough to send a matching lead each which are a nice length and feature a fleece lined handle which is a nice extra touch!

I wish i'd known about these when Lily had her back problems as they would've been perfect as theres no awkward pulling to put them on and off like with other brands, I'd definitely recommend them, especially if your dogs prone to rubbing like Lily is! I'll definitely be buying more, and I think they need a raincoat each...!

Why we love TheJanuaryRose!

I've followed Louise from TheJanuaryRose and her gorgeous little dog, Rosie on Twitter/Instagram for quite a while, but have until now never bought anything from her Etsy (not quite sure how that happened really!) but have been lusting over a number of her gorgeous items for quite some time!
A couple of weeks ago Louise shared a discount code for her easy, and that was it really - I knew what I just had to have!

I'm actually quite proud of myself for the fact that I only bought two things!! But god, are the lovely!
Firstly I bought something that i've had in my etsy favourites for months, one of the stamped "Crazy *insert breed here* Lady" keyrings, Louise has an option for extra hearts to be added so I paid for the two heart option which is priced at £7.49, with a heart each for Lily & Sev - I absolutely adore this, it's so, so beautifully made and presented! I also plan on picking a couple more up for friends of mine as christmas presents :-)

My finally purchase was another collar for Lily (I know, I know!). I went for the Navy and Pink Floral in the 10mm width, I spend my life on the hunt for dainty floral collars that aren't over wide or bulky, so the option to choose a smaller width was perfect for me! The collars are made to measure ensuring a perfect fit, the collar much like the keyring is beautifully made and gorgeous, will defintly be buying more and the matching bows! :)

(apologies for the changes in lighting; I photographed these during a storm!)

Bandanas&Bows

Anyone that follows me on any form of social media will know I have a serious (and slightly out of control) bandana/bow tie obsession - the dogs have a whole drawer full of them! So I thought it was time to make a summary of our favourites and where to buy them, as we get asked this quite a lot!

Firstly are the bandanas, I'll start with the ones from our friend (and favourite Etsy shop) Chloe - Chloe is a fellow blogger, her blog is linked here. The quality of Chloe's bandanas is literally incredible, they are very affordable and beautifully made, I have 9(?) of them in my collection, but here are my favourites including most of her new ones; the Peter Rabbit designs! I honestly cannot recommend Chloe enough, they really are lovely! (Plus the money raised helps pay Winnie's vet bills!) :)

(The photo above is the front, below is the back)

The second bandana shop we love is Pancho's Wardrobe we've talked about them before, but at the time our elephant bandana was a one off, but now they're available on their shop which is linked here

And now onto the bows, i'll start with an old favourite shop of ours; Mabel&Mu we've written a more in depth post about them which is linked here
Next up is a summer favourite from Etsy shop Whiskers and Stitched, they make a variety of items ranging from bows to travel beds (another great shop for gift buying!) I have bought two bows from them, this gorgeous pink flamingo printed one and a glittery gold one which i've put away ready for christmas!
Next up is this delicate floral bow from Bob's Boutique, most of you will instantly recognise Bob from @Bobsminiadventures on twitter/instagram famous for wearing bow ties, so naturally I had to buy two! Shown on Lily is the "Barbie" which I love, the delicate floral print is beautiful - another plus for Bob's Boutique is that unlike all the other bows which attach using elastic (which doesn't always fit the collar) their bows attach using a velcro strip that adjusts around the collar. The bows also come in their own storage bags which is a lovely touch. I also bought "The Scott" which has also been put away for Christmas!

And finally we have two of the most popular bows on instagram; the Teddy Maximus bow ties! I have two of these currently as they are the most priciest bows in the collection (the favourites too!) they really are lovely! The two I have are the Liberty Print "London" and the Pink Shetland Wool there really is something special about these!

Really enjoyed creating this post, if you'd like to see more like this then please let us know! Collars used are:
