Introducing the Hettie!

Myself and the dogs are lucky enough to live in the middle of the English countryside surrounded by fields and farmland, having grown up like this also theres something about British Heritage and Craftsmanship that I just adore.

The Hettie is a company that is inspired by just that, they are a small family run business based in Warwickshire all of their gorgeous products are lovingly designed and hand made in the UK using British made wool.
Hettie not only make a range of beautiful handbags and matching accessories but also produce co-ordinating dog products; the Jasper Dog Coat and the Scooby Dog Harness. both of which I was kindly sent to review!

Lily and Sev where the first dachshunds that had tested the products and anyone that owns a dach will know how awkward it is to find coats etc that fit due to their shape! Sian sent us both items in size small.
Firstly I tested the Jasper coat, we received it in the "Multispot Natural" colour way, which is absolutely gorgeous and definitely my favourite pattern that they currently the make! The background is a soft cream with a variety of coloured spots, it's just beautiful and the workmanship in this coat is divine! Now onto the bit I was most anxious about; the fit! The coat was an absolute perfect fit on both dachs, even Sev who is ridiculously long!! This coat fitted Lily better that most items that where specifically made for daxies! It features a beautiful lined collar, reinforced harness whole and adjustable openings on both the chest and around the waist, it was warm and comfy without being bulky which is something I always look for. It retails at £120 and is worth every penny, it is beautiful, right down to the gorgeous polka dot lining!

The lovely ladies at Hettie where also kind enough to send us the Scooby harness in the Gargrave Lilac colour way, which is also stunning! I was really impressed with this harness, it fitted perfectly around the neck and sat comfortably on Lily, but what I liked the post is that the fabric of the harness was longer than most "vest" style harnesses meaning that it didn't ride up on Lily's chest like most others we've tried do! The only issue we found was that the strap that went around the waist was a bit too long for Lily (I've tucked it under the loops in the photos!). The Scooby harness also retails at £120.

Overall I was super impressed with the Hettie products, they are all utterly beautiful and exquisitely well made! I cannot wait to see the new Autumn fabrics and products!

Thank you for reading,
Jaime, Lily & Sev xo
